Terms of Use

Eligibility and your account

You must be at least 18 years old, or use Agamoni under the supervision of a parent or lawful guardian who accepts these Terms. Agamoni works without an account; if you sign in with your phone number over WhatsApp OTP, you are responsible for activity on your account and for keeping your device secure. Tell us at once if you suspect unauthorised use.

Use of the app

Agamoni is provided free of charge for personal, non-commercial use to help you navigate Durga Pujo in Kolkata. You agree not to misuse the service, disrupt it, or attempt to access it in unauthorised ways.

Acceptable use

You agree not to: break any law or infringe anyone's rights; upload content that is unlawful, hateful, defamatory, obscene, misleading or that impersonates another; scrape, bulk-download, resell or redistribute the data except as the licences allow; probe, scan, overload or interfere with the service or its security; reverse engineer except to the extent the law permits; use bots or automated means without our written consent; or use Agamoni to track or harass another person.

Community content

Pandal information, themes, timings, routes and locations are largely community-sourced and compiled by volunteers. It may be incomplete, out of date or wrong — always verify on the ground. Submissions you make must be accurate and lawful, and you grant Zynapte Technologies Pvt Ltd a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive licence to store, moderate, adapt, display and distribute approved submissions within Agamoni and its promotional material. You retain ownership of your content and confirm you have the rights to submit it.

Intellectual property

The Agamoni name, logo and app design are owned by Zynapte Technologies Pvt Ltd. The bundled place directory and route data are provided for personal use within the app. Base map data is © OpenStreetMap contributors and is used under the Open Database Licence (ODbL). Open-source components are used under their respective licences, listed in the app under Settings → Tech Stack & Open Source Licenses.

Groups and live location

Live location sharing is opt-in per group and can be turned off at any time. Only share your location with people you trust. Group creators and members are responsible for who they invite.

You may add someone to a group by mobile number (up to 20 members per group). Only add numbers of people who expect it. If you did not want to be added, you can leave the group, and the owner can remove you; see the Privacy Policy for how an unclaimed invite is handled.

Any UPI ID you add is optional, is used only to generate a payment link for someone settling a debt to you, and is not a payment service — payments happen in your own UPI app, not in Agamoni.

Step tracker and health features

The Sharad Padatik step tracker shows estimates from your device sensors for a festive walking experience. Figures are approximate and are not medical, fitness or clinical advice. Do not rely on them for any health decision. Walk safely and be aware of traffic and crowds.

Coupons and merchant offers

Any coupons, deals or merchant offers shown in Agamoni are provided by third-party merchants. Zynapte Technologies Pvt Ltd is not the seller, does not set the terms, and is not responsible for a merchant honouring an offer or for the goods or services supplied. Your dealings with a merchant are solely between you and them.

Third-party services and links

Agamoni relies on third-party services (including WhatsApp for login codes, OpenStreetMap for maps, and Google Play services for notifications and diagnostics) and may link to third-party sites. We do not control those services and are not responsible for their content, availability or practices.

Fees

Agamoni is free. There are no in-app purchases and no subscription. Your mobile carrier's data and messaging charges may apply.

No warranty

The app and its data are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. Navigation, timings, transit and crowd information are guidance only and are not official. Agamoni is not affiliated with any pujo committee, transport authority or government body.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Zynapte Technologies Pvt Ltd is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, or for loss of data, profits or goodwill, arising from use of the app or reliance on its data. To the extent liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to INR 1,000.

Indemnity

You agree to indemnify Zynapte Technologies Pvt Ltd against claims, losses and expenses arising from your misuse of Agamoni, your content, or your breach of these Terms.

Suspension and termination

We may suspend or end access for misuse or to protect the service or other users. You may stop using Agamoni and delete your account at any time. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (content licence, disclaimers, limitation of liability, governing law) continue to apply.

Changes

We may change Agamoni or these Terms. Material changes will be notified in the app or on the website, with a new effective date. Continued use after a change means you accept the revised Terms.

Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to applicable law, the courts at Kolkata, West Bengal have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or relating to Agamoni or these Terms.

Miscellaneous

If any provision is held unenforceable, the rest remains in force. Our failure to enforce a right is not a waiver. These Terms, the Privacy Policy and the DPDP Notice are the entire agreement between you and Zynapte Technologies Pvt Ltd about Agamoni.
